    John Shue, President/ CEO

    John Shue is a graduate of Adams State College in Alamosa, CO, having received both a Bachelor's and a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling/ Clinical Psychology. John also attended Warner Pacific College and Portland State University in Portland, OR; after completion of his education, he joined the Portland Police Department, where his desire to work with hurting youth was developed. John has 39 years of experience in CO, in all aspects of operating and managing licensed, professional treatment centers for boys and girls. John joined Family Connection Inc Board of Directors in 2007. John is thankful for the opportunity to serve children and youth in this capacity.

  • Chris Peck, Chief Operating Officer

    Chris Peck, Chief Operating Officer

    Chris Peck of Mt. Sterling, KY is a graduate of Georgetown College where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He continued his education by obtaining his MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. Chris has more than six years of professional management experience and is highly qualified to oversee the operations of Family Connection and Hope Hill Children's Home. Chris also serves his community through a number of boards including the Chamber of Commerce, Community Education Advisory Council and Family Resource Center Advisory Council. Chris and his wife, Rebecca, attend the Mt. Sterling First Church of God where they are involved in a small group and serve on committees.

  • Lynda Shue, Administrator/ Internal Auditor

    Lynda Shue, Administrator/ Internal Auditor

    Lynda Shue is a graduate of Colorado State University-Pueblo in Pueblo, Colorado. She has been an Administrator/Internal Auditor for Family Connection Inc since 2008. Lynda has 39 years of experience in residential treatment facilities for adolescents as business manager, accountant, human resources. She and her husband John have worked as a team throughout their career in residential care in many aspects besides the business side. They were foster parents, while raising their own four children, and managed work camps at a residential treatment facility in Colorado. Her skills have served her well in assisting John in this vital life-calling and ministry to children and youth.

  • Katy Hedge, Director of Development

    Katy Hedge, Director of Development

    Katy Hedge of Citrus Heights, CA is a 2005 graduate of Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Family Science with an emphasis in Christian Ministries. She has continued her education by earning a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from the Fund Raising School at The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. Katy is working toward her MBA from IWU and also serves in the community as an Executive Board member for Leadership Montgomery County and as a member of Kiwanis. Katy first became involved with the agency during a work camp in 1998 where God planted a seed in her heart for this ministry.

  • Leslie Godby, Business Manager/ Accountant

    Leslie is from Mt. Sterling, KY where she and her family attend the First Christian Church. Leslie graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She has 18 years of accounting experience that includes both cost and general accounting. Her experience ranges from very large companies to small privately-owned companies and she is proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office software. Leslie has also had many hours of managerial/leadership/out-of-the-box training. She began working for Family Connection, Inc. in 2010.

  • Brenda Garrett, Human Resources Coordinator

    Brenda Garrett, Human Resources Coordinator

    Brenda Garrett of Mt. Sterling, KY has been with Hope Hill and Family Connection, Inc. since 2008. She is a graduate of Morehead State University where she earned an Associates Degree in University Studies. She brings with her 17 years of experience from Mary Chiles Hospital as a medical coder and medical records clerk. She has also helped build a business with her husband by managing the accounts payable and receivable for Garrett Communications. Brenda enjoys working in a Christian Environment where she can be a part of the changes and growth the employees experience. Brenda feels that being part of a growing ministry is very rewarding.

  • Elvis Alicea, Site Administrator

    Elvis Alicea, Site Administrator

    Elvis Alicea of Mt. Sterling, KY is a 1990 graduate of Anderson University where he earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Christian Education. He continued his education by earning his Masters of Social Work from the University of Kentucky in 2003 and recently became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Elvis has 22 years of experience in social work and child care and has been with Hope Hill since 1997. He and his family attend the Mt. Sterling First Church of God where he is part of the worship team and helps with the youth ministry. Having been a troubled youth himself Elvis feels someone could have reached out to him earlier, and now he can be the one to help those in need and help them overcome too.

  • Kim Pulliam, Program Administrator of Therapuetic Foster Care

    Kim Pulliam, Program Administrator of Therapuetic Foster Care

    Kim has her Masters degree in Social Work and is a Certified Social Worker. She has 12 years of professional experience including work as a Clinical Reviewer for Children's Review Program and a Therapist at the Ridge Behavioral Health System. Kim's Clinical specialty is in treating sexual abuse issues including victimization, sexual reactivity and borderline features. Kim became Hope Hill's Director of Therapeutic Foster Care in August of 2005.
