Ribbon Cutting Held for Transitional Living Program
A ribbon cutting was held on Thursday May 9th on the campus of Hope Hill for the new Transitional Living Program. Through the financial support of the Mt. Sterling 1st Church of God and the Christian Appalachian Project, Hope Hill employees remodeled an existing building on campus to provide new opportunities for youth in the Residential Treatment Program. This facility is home to five youth with the capacity to house up to eight. While in this program youth will be continue to receive the therapeutic care they need while beginning to learn life skills that will be critical for them when they leave. Hopefully the Transitional Living Program will provide the skills needed for youth to move into the Independent Living Program where they can strengthen their skills and continue their education.
